EuMA Radar Prize

The EuMA Radar Prize is awarded annually to the author(s) who submitted and presented the paper that best advances the state-of-theart in radar at the European Radar Conference, held during European Microwave Week, in the opinion of the EuRAD Technical Programme Committee and the General Assembly of the European Microwave Association. The value of the EuMA Radar Prize is €3,000. Eligible candidates for the EuMA Prize are the author(s) of a paper accepted for inclusion in the programme of EuRAD, published in the Conference Proceedings and presented during the conference in either an oral or poster session.


EuRAD Young Engineers Prize

The EuRAD Technical Programme Committee and the General Assembly of the European Microwave Association will award the Young Engineer Prize of €2,000 to a young engineer or researcher who has presented an outstanding paper at the EuRAD conference. To be eligible candidates must be (1) aged 30 or younger at the date of the award, (2) be the first author of the paper, (3) be the presenter of either an oral or poster session. Applicants must state the purpose to which the prize will be put. The successful applicant may use part of the prize to fund attendance at the following year’s EuRAD conference.


Reduced Fees and Special Grants

Reduced fees are implemented for students as well as senior persons aged 65 years or more. The European Microwave Association will also provide up to 10 student grants consisting of €500 plus the reduced registration fee for EuRAD. Applications should be sent to the EuRAD Chairman by 8 July 2006. The European Microwave Association will also provide a number of grants for delegates coming from NIS countries or Russia. The value of the grants is €500 plus the reduced registration fee for EuRAD. Applications should be sent to the EuMW General Chairman by 8 July 2006.
